About Oman

Oman occupies a strategic position on the Arabian Peninsula, featuring one of its longest coastlines along the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman.

The capital, Muscat, is divided into districts including Muttrah, known for its historic port and corniche, and Ruwi, a commercial centre.

The southern Dhofar region experiences a unique monsoon season from late June to early September, turning Salalah green while much of Oman remains arid. Peak tourist visits occur from October to April when temperatures in Muscat range between 25–30°C, aligning with cooler weather and seasonal events.
